If I was convicted of DUI in 2006 and another in May 2008, does that automatically disqualify me from getting a concealed weapons permit?

Typically it is felonies, not misdemeanors. So, I think you are fine to add firearms to your alcohol issues.

If you are in Michigan you will need a lawyer. Your blowing 24 will effect the charges and penalties even though it was the fist time you were caught.
