Should I apply for a DMV hardship permit at this time?

Answered by attorney Philip Daniel Hache
DUI/DWI lawyer at Law Offices of Phil Hache
No, if it has been less than 10 days from the arrest/citation date, then you (or your attorney) should request a DMV hearing on the DUi immediately, and request a new temporary drivers license while the case is pending. I highly recommend you contact a DUI attorney in your area immediately to discuss your case in more detail, and possible defenses to your case. Your chances of getting a good resolution on the DMV and criminal matter increase greatly with an experienced DUI defense attorney.

Can I get DUI convictions expunged if I have more than one?

Cynthia Russell Henley
Answered by attorney Cynthia Russell Henley (Unclaimed Profile)
DUI/DWI lawyer at Cynthia Henley
You cannot expunge cases if you were found guilty. Only if you were found not guilty or the cases were dismissed. Otherwise, they will remain on your record. Be aware if you were convicted on both of those cases, the next one will be a felony.

You are looking at jail time on a second DUI. You should talk to a lawyer. Most of them will talk to you for free.
