Very thankful for what the law firm has done for me. Really took a load of worry off my shoulders. Been very good working with me throughout the process. Nothing but good recommendation for Smith Law Firm.

Hired Law Firm
I went to Scott for help in a divorce. I had spoken to two other lawyers in the past few years. When, I finally decided it was time, three phone calls and they never called me back. I then found Smith and McGhee, I had an appt that day. My friend had come into town for support and went with me. After consultation, she said, Oh yeah, hes the one, he's going to be good. And, he was! This was an over three decade marriage and Scott gave great advise, even when he needed to hold me back a little. He was definitely on my side! Highly recommend!
Mr. Smith and his paralegal Ms. Mason went above and beyond to obtain the best possible settlement in my divorce. Because this was the end of a 33 year marriage they were very thorough in obtaining all the information needed in order to have a fair division of financial and property assets, along with the facts needed in obtaining a decent alimony settlement. Mr Smith knows the family law concerning divorce matters and can go about this process in a calm and respectful manner to all involved.
I met with a few different lawyers in regards to child custody and child support. All of the others just didn't cut it with me. When I walked into Mr Smith's office for a consultation. He asked me one thing. "Did I want him to handle my situation for me?" I told him yes. That was one of the best decisions I ever made, because he definitely handle and is still handling my situation. I was able to get joint custody of my 2yo son. I was extremely satisfied with how the team performed in court.
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.

Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
