I have inherited farm real estate (before marriage), husband and I farmed for 4 years together does this entitle him to any of real estate?

Answered by attorney Glenn E. Tanner (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Glenn E. Tanner, Attorney at Law
You can make an argument that the farm is all or mostly your separate property. The court can divide separate property but tends to give you back your separate. Whether the sep. would get divided, depends on factors you haven't discussed. See an attorney asap.

How long could it take for a judge to sign the final divorce decree once its filed in Travis County, Texas?

John Michael Frick
Answered by attorney John Michael Frick (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Reid Dennis Frick, PC
Most agreed or default decrees are signed at the prove-up hearing when they are handed to the judge.  It usually only takes a few seconds. If the parties have a dispute about the contents of the Decree, either party can file a motion to enter and set it for hearing.  Any dispute will be resolved at that hearing.  That may require the Decree to be revised.  If not, the judge typically will sign it at the end of that hearing.

Am I eligible for my husband's pension?

Answered by attorney John E. Kirchner (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at John E. Kirchner
You don't give enough information to attempt an answer. The best way to get an answer would be to contact the pension plan administrator of your first husband's plan. Generally, the answer will probably depend on whether or not you were ever eligible for anything, why you were eligible, whether you ever received anything and why it stopped, if that is what happened.
