Do I only get half until day we divorced or does it accumulate interest or get half of all retirement when she retires?

Answered by attorney Kathleen Delacy (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Reger Rizzo & Darnall, LLP
Normally it is at the date of divorce. You should make sure there is a QDRO in place though. If she retires and no QDRO you can be out of luck.

Divorce lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
It is impossible answer your question given the lack of information you provided. Generally you should see an attorney and determine what your rights are. Following your divorce, it will be up to you, subject to various orders the court assuming you have children, whether or not he will be allowed to leave the state.
