Can my husband force me to leave our home.

Morghan Leia Richardson

You should retain a lawyer to address your rights in the divorce and prevent your husband from trying to force you out. Note that once you are living separately, he may have an obligation to pay you temporary maintenance during the case. Talk to an attorney near you for a more detailed answer. Good luck!

Is there any reason why I should not move out of a rented apartment before a seperation agreement is reached in NYS if i have a child.

That's a more complicated question than it looks. Will the child be moving with you? Are you seeking custody? You should consult a local divorce attorney and discuss the situation in detail.

Why don't you stop thinking about ways to "use" things - especially nonsense about kidnapping - and start thinking about how to allow your child the benefit of the best possible relationship with both parents. Your anger is getting in the way...and your son is the person who suffers as a result. That having been said, it's certainly a concern if the father isn't showing up after an international flight. But you have to accept that there will be other people in your ex-husband's life and that your child will meet them. That's going to happen...
