If I bought a house with my parents, will my spouse be entitled to 1/2 of the home?

Slim, but if there were payments of community funds to acquire equity in the home (whether by down payment, monthly payments, or remodeling) there presumably would be a community interest of far less than 1/2.

When is it too late to file for alimony? Can she go back and ask for alimony support?

Ralph L Williams
Answered by attorney Ralph L Williams (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Ralph L. Williams
If the Court Judgment made a reservation of jurisdiction over spousal support, then your former spouse could file a motion to request spousal support to be awarded. If no order for spousal support was made in the Judgment or no reservation of jurisdiction made, then former spouse would not be able to seek a support award.

I only deal with CA law. I have no idea what IL law says on any issue. If he were arrested for abuse, you would have to call the police, you could gain an advantage on the custody issue. You may want to discuss your rights with an immigration attorney or maybe an immigration advocacy group.
