Too late to appeal in Washington State. Sue your attorney for malpractice perhaps. Statute of limitations is fast approaching. Act now.

I am so very sorry for you.  First, there is no " cooling off" period in Florida.  As long as you have lived in the state for 6 months prior to filing for divorce you can proceed.  I am guessing that your husband and you last lived together in Florida?  If not, there are other issues too lengthly to cover here.    Second, contact the local bar in the county where you live.  Many counties have low cost and legal aid for individuals who qualify.  It is based on financial need typically, rather than the circunstances giving rise to the divorce. The local legal aid office can let you know whether you qualify for assistance.     Good luck, Cindy Vova Law Office of Cindy S. He can claim that in the divorce, but it us unlikely to be a factor based in the facts presented. Hire an attorney to represent you in the divorce.
