A transfer of that nature is a taxable event unless it is done through a Qualified Domestic Relations Order, properly drafted and signed by the judge.

Can my ex spouse file for divorce in New York if my marriage was void in Nevada?

You certainly have a good defense to the spousal support order, but it needs to be vacated if it's actually an order and not just a petition.  If it's a petition it needs to be defended. You'll win, but you need to fight it- if there's an order, your cousin got it on default because you ignored it. You don't want to let that happen again.

You need a divorce lawyer to review the judgment of divorce and any settlement agreement. Based upon those documents you can make a decision as to what the appropriate enforcement action would be.
