Is there anyway I can stop this divorce? How?

In California there is no way you can stop the divorce but you are entitled to one-half of everything acquired during your marriage. I strongly urge you to see an experienced family law attorney immediately to protect your rights. Good luck.

Under the current Florida statute only the parents income is considered, not a new spouse. BUT be aware the Florida Legislature is considering changing the statute in 2014.

The cost can vary depending on what all needs to be drafted and how complicated it would be. Your costs will probably vary from about $750.00 and up. You should consult with an attorney.
