What’s the easiest fastest way to get a divorce?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Robert Jason De Groot (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at R. Jason de Groot, P.A.
There is no quick and easy way to get divorced under these circumstances. Typically, an uncontested divorce is filed when the parties have agreed upon the resolution of each and every issue between them. You can call many attorneys for a free consultation, and the biggest issue is that he is not a resident of Florida and that the divorce might have to be brought in Arkansas. You cannot waive child support from him, it is not your right but the child's right to be supported by his or her parents. You just want it over with, but it will probably cost many thousands of dollars to get divorced. The Florida court does have jurisdiction over your marriage but you must be a continuous resident for 6 months prior to filing the divorce. The fact that you are pregnant brings about many more issues.

Can I begin the divorce process while I am pregnant and legally choose what my baby’s last name will be without his consent?

Answered by attorney Bernal Peter Ojeda (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Law Office of Bernal P. Ojeda
You can start your divorce at anytime. He can ask the court to I include his name. An action leaving him out when it comes to the child could have an impact on custody.

How many years of separation from a marriage justifies dating?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Eric S Lumberg (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Law Offices of Eugene Lumberg and Eric S. Lumberg
Whether he is dating or not, you are still married and any divorce action would take that fact into consideration. This fact may affect any support or other property issues if he is spending marital funds on this dating. Consult with an attorney to discuss this issue further and determine how best to proceed.
