How much will a prenup cost?

Answered by attorney Anne Barbara Howard (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Anne B. Howard, A Professional Law Corporation
It'll probably cost at least $1,500 - $2,000 for you. Remember both sides need to have an attorney to try to make the prenup as iron-clad as possible. If you do one, do it properly or not at all.

For same-sex marriage, do I need another marriage license?

It should be recognized in Utah, but you may have to wait until all the appeals are finished on the Utah case. There are cases saying that one state's marriage should be given the same effect in another state, but I don't believe that they have gone to the U.S. Supreme Court.

You need the annulment to be completed before you marry your boyfriend. Otherwise your marriage won't be legal.
