What happens if my husband doesn’t respond to the final disclosure?

Answered by attorney Gerard A. Fierro (Unclaimed Profile)
Divorce lawyer at Gerard A. Fierro & Associates
You can file a Request for Order to compel the final disclosure or ask the Judge to set a date for the disclosure. You can also waive the disclosure if you have enough information and evidence to proceed to trial or settle. In some cases, if the disclosure is not done after a court order, you can ask for an evidentiary sanction or terminating sanction and proceed by default.

This advice does not create an attorney client relationship. That may only be created between us with a written agreement. Generally, the cohabitant must be paying some or all of your expenses. Roommates do not count if paying a share of the rent. Significant others paying a portion of the rent are questionable, unless they sleep in a separate room. Staying overnight at another's home does not constitute them subsidizing your finances.
