Can I still get child support for my son who is turning 18 this August since he is going to college in the Fall?

Answered by attorney Amanda Bowden Johnson
Divorce lawyer at The Houser Law Firm, P.C.
No. Not unless you have a formal written Separation Agreement which requires one of the parties to do so. I doubt you have such an Agreement because it would be incredibly stupid to sign an Agreement extending the obligation to pay child support beyond the required period.

If we get divorced, am I entitled to any part of the house?

You are entitled to one-half of everything acquired during marriage from earnings or efforts. It doesn't matter how title to the house is held. What matters is when it was acquired and with what money.
