I'm a Denver-based lawyer creating quality, accessible, and comprehensive legal solutions to help my clients reach their peak. I earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from New York University. I started as an employment litigator after graduating from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. I have represented hundreds of small businesses, helped my clients raise millions in funds, and protected my clients’ brands. Since founding Basecamp Legal in 2016, I have found I am happiest when I'm helping startups and small businesses find solutions that are right for them. I have been a speaker at Denver Startup Week multiple times and recently served as a mentor for REI Co-op’s Path Ahead Ventures’ Embark Program. I'm licensed in California, Colorado, and Idaho.

My coworkers and I unionized our massage studio, and we were illegally fired for doing so. In lieu of a monetary settlement, the franchise owner offered to "give" us the studio. We reached out to Basecamp Legal for guidance and advice before jumping into this "golden opportunity". And we are so glad we did! Karen Kishbaugh helped us ask the right questions - both to our former employer, and to ourselves for what our new business might look like if we went ahead with the deal. She also stood firm when his lawyer started dodging inquiries about current financial statements and business wellness reports. Needless to say, we didn't take the studio. We greatly appreciate the support and advice Basecamp Legal gave us. It made an enormous difference in protecting us from a man who did not have our best interests at heart. Karen's presence and guidance saved us from being pressured into a potentially nasty situation. They're a great team!!

Adrienne Fischer would be my first call if I need legal counsel once again for a real estate transaction in Colorado. I was an out-of-state buyer, unfamiliar with the process in Colorado. We purchased a property as an unrepresented Buyer and she was able to assist with everything we needed. She was responsive and followed up on multiple occasions to make sure we didn't have additional questions, as well as, reminding us of deadlines and contractual concerns. I started my business not so long ago and needed help to make some contract as well as with some work on my website. Adrienne was very helpful and informative about everything. I contacted Summit Law Solutions because I needed an attorney to review my first client contract. The biggest challenge was, I needed help ASAP! Adrienne came to my rescue.
