Paid up front, he showed up to one hearing, just stood there, and since then, I have pages and pages of email that has not been replied to, once a week for the last 6 months. He was hired for a revocation and then finish out sentencing. He failed to respond to, or make any objections to, or even let the client see the PSR. Now the judge is irritated and has reset sentencing out a year and a half because of his failing. Now the client is stuck in jail due to a revocation on a technical violation that a 1st year law student could have won, in the peak of the covid pandemic, and because the client is in on revocation detained until end of proceedings, they cant get released again in the meantime, and is stuck in jail for at least a year and a half after already waiting on him to do ANYTHING for the last 6 months. He has essentially abandoned the case and now the client has been transferred hundreds of miles from where the court is, making asking for a new court appointed lawyer impossible
