Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Leisa is thorough and pragmatic. She represented me with the upmost professionalism and with my best interests in the forefront of her actions. I am extremely pleased with her service.
Working with Leisa was an excellent experience especially as she handled a combative attorney for the other party very well.
From the beginning she was responsive, professional and efficient. She provided her professional advice, however I feel like she was not on the same page as me as far as what my goal was. I felt like because of the opposing council she seemed more pro for settling which was disappointing. Overall I was happy with her professionalism I just hoped for her to to want to fight more for I know was the best interest of the child.
As a mediator I think she was the worst I had. I felt she tried to bully me and intimidate me to the point of the best interest of her colleagues. It was never about my daughter. She lied and tried to trick me because I was without a lawyer. Good thing I recorded our conversation cause without the recording I would not have known some of the things she said was straight up lies.
Ms. Wintz was assigned as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) on my case after I raised concerns about parent alienation and neglect of my child. There was also a Reunification Therapist (REUN) assigned. My child had been turned against me during a unilateral separation imposed by my ex in violation of our parenting plan as approved by the court. However, once reunited, he very quickly expressed wanting to start seeing me again as normal and I asked for a transition plan while expressing a desire to reach a settlement on the case. Instead, the reunification process was halted and reversed by actions of GAL and REUN, which also undermined settlement talks. Ms. Wintz never made any effort to investigate my parental alienation and child neglect claims, choosing to jump to a conclusion and target me instead. She was supposed to represent the best interest of my child, but seems she just used him to make more money off the circumstance. See FreeLC.org for more details!
