Scheef & Stone, L.L.P. is a law firm established in 1992 with an office in Dallas, TX. At this office location, there are 25 lawyers practicing banking law, bankruptcy, business law and 17 other areas of law.
My family has been taken advantage of by three attorneys at this law firm. on two occasions. The first attorney abandoned us left the firm at a critical time. The last two only took up our case was to save the reputation of the firm. And had no Honorable intention to fully represent our family, however collecting fee's and not doing the necessary work. And as of this date, they have not kept up with correspondence or deadlines, after all this time last minute we are in the same as the first time. Mr. T. Chase Garrett refers to our family as you people and you guys, Rebekah Booker supposedly in charge of first attorney Terry James. They let our case drag out now we are out of time. They show extreme lack of respect for people of color and it is reflected in their work ethic. Mr. T. Chase told a family member you people need to stop giggling on internet, when she asked him was he familiar with the Heirship Act signed by Governor Greg Abbott. Horrible experience one of the worst attorneys I've ever usrd! Was not ethical and would not cooperate on giving second copy of signed contract with he and firm. He wormed around d ANSWERS. Hos actions were not good. Arrogant attitude. His actions affected a 92 year old in a very negative way. Went into areas not hos business nor hired for. Basically we t behind d back. Fees astronomically high and especially for the quality of service.
Can't recommend! Horrible experience!
