Jerome has been placed on legal probation with the STATE BAR OF TEXAS TWICE IN 3 YEARS, HIS CURRENT PROBATION ENDS IN 2018. Jerome was sued in Collin County for breech of contract and was ordered to pay former client 4K --- 14 months has passed and that client has now had to do a motion of turnover for payment
It appears that Mr. Stein has a motive of collecting retainers and failing to properly represent clients and they either dismiss him or he withdraws.
Had a time sensitive issue, he did nothing other than take my money. I had to hire another to to resolve the issue. Have asked several times over the past year and a half for the return of money since he d to handle the case r even file any kind of paperwork, and still haven't received it bk. He just responds "I'll get you taken care of". He never does so once again I have to hire an attoney to get my money back.... Don't know how these other people get great results from him...I didn't at all
Jerome Stein was paid $2500 to terminate my wife's ex-husbands parental rights to my step-son and for a step-parent divorce. After 3 months with no activity, I requested proof of activity or my money back. He then typed names into a canned form (incorrectly, I might add) and sent it to me. He claimed the suit had been filed with the court, but the court said that wasn't so. I then requested a refund. Stein still hasn't given me a refund. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.
