My family was locked in a construction dispute with a very stubborn / nonresponsive home improvement company, who apparently had a history of avoiding financial responsibility for its problems. He understood our frustration and was compassionate and helped us form and stick to a plan to pursue our legal rights through legal demand and litigation. During the lawsuit, we used the power of the Court to force the other party to have to negotiate with us While being sensitive to our budgetary limitations, Hershel confidently maneuvered us through all of the obstacles and kept us protected and informed. Thanks to Mr. Chapin we were able to achieve all of our goals with great satisfaction. I engaged Hershel to domesticate a foreign judgment and assist with debt collection in the mid 6 figures. Hershel impressed me from day 1 when I submitted an inquiry through his website and he called me soon after for a free consult even though it was after business hours for him. Hershel has extensive knowledge on debt elimination / bankruptcy which helped since he strategized on the creditor rights positions we should take but also knew how the other side may try to respond. He was thoughtful, provided great advice, excellent in communicating / negotiating, friendly and easy to talk to, seems to genuinely care about his clients and cases. I was really grateful for his high intensity level and mindfulness since he was able to quickly and effectively navigate through so many contested issues. Hershel prosecuted this as a receivership proceeding that led to the negotiation and execution of a payment agreement. Can’t thank him enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!

He outlined the scope of his services, the cost, the likely time involved, and arranged a first consultation. When I started realizing I may need to file for bankruptcy, it was a scary feeling and I needed a lawyer who I could trust. I recently worked with Hershel Chapin to collect a California judgment in Texas, and I couldn't be happier with the results.
