I met with attorney John Rife today for a free initial 30 minute consultation regarding my consideration in filing for child support modification (Background info: I have been divorced for 8 years, and I have primary custody of my two teenage sons (ages 16 & 17). My ex husband has been paying me the exact same amount of monthly child support since our divorce in 2015). He was very honest with me, he put my children first, and advised me that moving forward with modification would ultimately cost me (and my kids) more than its actually worth in my situation. He could have played right along, took my money, and deceived me into thinking I should hire him and spend thousands on attorney fees. But he did not. He told me the truth, ultimately saving me & my sons tons of money in the long run. He obviously is not greedy and isn't out to screw you over. I now have the upmost respect for John Rife, and if I ever need an attorney in the future, I will go to him 100%.
John Rife is smart, tenacious and works very hard to achieve the best possible outcome for clients. He represented my son in a possession of marijuana case and was able to secure a deferment of charges - which allowed my son to move forward with his college and career plans, under guidelines that will eventually remove the charges from his record. John fought hard to make this happen. I had hired a different attorney initially - big mistake. So glad I found John Rife.
