What happens in the court date if I got a ticket for driving under the influence?

If this is your first court appearance, it is probably an arraignment where you will be formally informed of the charges against you and will be asked to enter a plea of either guilty, not guilty or no contest to the charges. I suggest that you hire an attorney to represent you. If you cannot afford one, then you can ask the judge to appoint a public defender to represent you at his first court appearance.

How long will a minor serve in juvenile hall for assault of an adult?

Leonard D. Harden
Answered by attorney Leonard D. Harden (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Harden Law Office
The answer really depends on the facts. A juvenile can only be deemed a juvenile until 17 in NH, however, if the assault was serious he could be deemed an adult and face more serious consequences. His history will also play a part and whether or not he was on juvenile probation at the time of the new offense. He should contact a defense lawyer familiar with the authorities involved.

No one gets away with a crime without penalty. You may be given an opportunity to keep this off your record, but are probably in need of a good attorney.
