Can a person receive a sentence of life imprisonment at the age of 14?

A 14 year old can be sentenced to life in prison. Was that the episode where the 14 year old was offered a deal, and the MOTHER told him to refuse the deal, because the jury would never convict him. That was real life - mother's (in their love) put their babies in prison for years all the time, because they think they know more than the attorney, or they are listening to their pastor, or they will leave it in God's hands.

If you are on probation, you need to clear it with your probation officer. If you are not, unless there is an order signed by the judge that prohibits you from leaving the state, you should be able to go. You will still need to make your court dates, and notify the court of your new address.
