They have been summoned to court in order to testify against you. Irrespective of how they feel about you, IF they indicate that they told the police officer the truth, YOU will be facing punishment. Good luck

Can you convince a prosecutor that you had NO ALCOHOL AT ALL in your blood at the time you were driving, even though you blew a 0.08? There's your answer. Even if, by some miracle, you plea down to a dry reckless, the DMV still isn't going to give your license back. The DMV determined independently that there was probable cause to suspend your license. The outcome of your court case will not affect that.

A commercial license will be revoked with a conviction, a regular license will only be restricted (sometimes) with a conviction. However, the DMV, through it's administrative hearing process, will suspend a regular liense regardless of what the Court does. Certain procedures must be followed to get the privileged restored.
