Will I go to jail today in court? How?

Jared Clayton Austin
Answered by attorney Jared Clayton Austin (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Austin Legal Services, PLC
You can always go to jail if you plead guilty or are found guilty of a crime. However, if this is your first offense in the misdemeanor it is probably not as likely. You or your attorney may be able to negotiate a no jail plea with the prosecutor. You may even qualify for diversion program which would keep the matter of your public record. Consult with an experienced criminal defense attorney in your area.

Nothing happens. You wrote a statement while drunk. The statement stands. You can only modify it while you are sober.

How do I find out about a parole board review hearing?

Call judge from the review hearing, or judge's chambers. When the judge's people tell you it has not been rescheduled, then maybe you will believe that the court appointed attorney does not know anything. These are not legal questions, they are common sense questions.
