What punishment am I facing for getting a third driving with revoked license due to DUI while on probation?

Answered by attorney Robert Jason De Groot (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at R. Jason de Groot, P.A.
Jail time, probably a minimum of 60 days as a guess, but perhaps more. Get counsel, and stop driving if your license is revoked. People actually go to prison for this.

What is the maximum jail time someone can get for criminal felonies such as attempting to elude a police officer?

Answered by attorney Austin M Hirschhorn (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Austin Hirschhorn, P.C.
The amount of jail time a person gets depends upon what the person is finally charged with and what disposition is made of that charge and the sentence that the judge determines is appropriate for the person. Your friend needs the help of a good criminal lawyer because you are talking about proceedings that could take place in the District Court's and Circuit Court's in more than one county. It is impossible for me to predict what might happen based upon the question you have asked.

How long do I have to press sexual assault charges after an assault has occurred?

Answered by attorney Clayton Lockhart (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at The Lockhart Law Firm
Check your state's statute of limitations statute, or simply contact your local district attorney's office and relay your story. They will know if the statute has run on your case. In most areas there is a 7 year statute for most crimes, the most notable exception is murder). The question to answer is when does the statute begin to run. I would think that for crimes that happened to you when you were age 3 and 14 that you would be given some additional time since you were only a minor and wouldn't have been allowed to sign the affidavits on your own. Again, I would advise you to contact the district attorney's office.
