How long can an inmate be in jail before they are arraigned?

Answered by attorney Eric E Rothstein (Unclaimed Profile)

That makes no sense. In NY the police have to bring you before a Judge within 24 hours of the arrest. If that didn't happen the person may have a claim for money damages and a Notice of Claim needs to be served within 90 days. I handle these type of cases so feel free to contact me. Are you sure the person didn't see a Judge? Perhaps he did and bail was set?

Does a charge for retail fraud show up on background check?

When you are arrested and fingerprinted, the arrest is forward to state and federal agencies to become part of your criminal history for life. The arrest will show up, prior to conviction. And If you are convicted, it will follow you for the remainder of your life.

I never understand why people confont the paramour of the partner instead of the partner.   It is the partner who violated the relationship   I often see these cheating shows where the "victim" attacks the paramour when the victim had the gripe with the paramour
