What will happen with a loss prevention case?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Thomas Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
This story doesn't even make sense. Where did it happen? Mcdonald's does not have loss prevention, and Walmart (which sells food) is pretty good about monitoring what is going on. Your friend orders food, and then figures out that he needs to use the bathroom. So, he leaves his food, where anyone can tamper with it (obviously since a homeless man ate it), and goes to the bathroom. He is in the bathroom so long that the homeless man is able to eat the food and leave before your friend gets out of the bathroom. If that is true how does your friend know it is a homeless man, versus the cashier that dumped the food in the garbage. As soon he emerges from the bathroom, he is questioned by loss prevention, no wait he was able to make it back to the counter and touch the box which previously held the food. What college is he/she attending? He is not that bright. He should expect a life of hardship IF this is how he lives. As for what will happen, no one has any idea, because the story you explained doesn't even make sense.

Probably not. If you have active probation, you cannot join. If you have a felony conviction, you typically cannot join.

Yes, it is technical, but it can be done. You probably will need an attorney to represent you in order to do it, but it can be done.
