How can one be charged with theft if the person hands them the money?

Answered by attorney Jason William Savela
Criminal Law lawyer at The Savela Law Firm, P.C.
You can be charged with anything, proving it is another thing 600 is not a felony, must be 1000 or more helping someone buy a gun without a background check is probably the worst crime, sure this was not a sting and the "guy" a cop? Get a lawyer and say nothing to police or prosecutors until lawyer helps you decide.
