What can I do if several months later after my case got dismissed they suspended my license for not having my insurance?

Answered by attorney Jason William Savela
Criminal Law lawyer at The Savela Law Firm, P.C.
if you show the proper people that you had insurance on the day, they should lift the suspension but it depends on who suspended you and why if ct shows that you were convicted of no ins, then that is a mistake - they should fix upon appropriate notice if ct shows that you failed to appear in court, then pay OJW fee to reinstate if DMV suspended bc notice that you did not have insurance, then they will only reinstate upon showing current insurance and pay fee .

Should I take the plea bargain if I'm innocent?

Answered by attorney Terry Alan Nelson (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Nelson & Lawless
No one can make that decision for you. The terms of the deal offered you are known. The risk of loss at trial carries with it sentencing to the time specified under the statute you are tried on. Your attorney should be advising you on the risk/reward analysis of deal vs trial. If you don't have counsel, you are on your own.

What will happen if I get probation violation for a failed drug test?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney John F Brennan (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Musilli Brennan Associates, PLLC
If you get a probation violation of any variety, including a failed drug test, then most probably you will end up serving the time which you avoided. Other than that your question is much too general except that is certainly most wise for you to hire an attorney and get your questions asked by someone who actually knows and understands the entirety of the circumstances.
