What can I do if I was given a bad check?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
Wait, so you never cashed the check, you just started spending money that you thought the check would cover? Then that's a breach of contract civil suit and you can press charges for writing a bad check.
