What should I do as defense for a misdemeanor larceny?

Answered by attorney Dennis Julian Roberts (Unclaimed Profile)

You don't need to apologize to me. Wal-Mart is a rip off. But anyhow, what will happen to a first time petty theft case where the store got back not only what you stole but also items that you paid for? I would imagine if your makes the kind of sympathetic pitch that you just made in this letter you will probably not get any jail time and will get probation. But BEWARE. Another theft case will be a felony. Anyhow I just realized that this should have gone to AZ lawyers, not CA lawyers, but most likely the result will be the same. Good luck.

Depends on the prosecutor and the judge. You should ask, and then retain an attorney IF you cannot work out probation.

Is it legal to search a vehicle due to prior drug conviction?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Gabriel Eric Dorman (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Office of Gabriel Dorman
Whether or not the search of the vehicle was legal depends on all of the facts and circumstances involved. As such, in order to properly evaluate this issue more information is needed beyond the fact of a prior drug conviction.
