Does a statute of limitations exist in Texas for someone who stopped seeing their PO 27 years ago?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
So you never finished your probation, You should call an attorney in that city to run you and see if it is still open. NO statute of limitations.

What if my daughter did not report a drug use incident she witnessed?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
No! What law requires someone to be a snitch?! No Texas law on that. But is she bound under the student code of conduct or something like that? Then the school can take action. But no citizen has a duty to report a crime. No possible criminal charges ever.

What are the penalties for receiving marijuana in the mail?

Thomas J Tomko
Answered by attorney Thomas J Tomko (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Thomas J. Tomko, Attorney at Law
Possible charges include possession and illegal use of the US mail. It will depend on what agency brings the charges. I suggest that she consider discussing the case with the attorney you hire, as this is not a proper forum to discuss the details of the case. You may contact my office to set a date and time to meet. I hope that this was helpful.
