How long does the state have to indict me?

Edward D Flint

Criminal Law lawyer at Edward D. Flint Attorney at Law
Felony statutes of limitations vary, but are at least four years from the date of the offense, with some extensions if you are out of state, on the run or incarcerated.

Can i appeal a ankle monitor sentence

David B Harrison
Answered by attorney David B Harrison (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Miller & Harrison, LLC
While the answer depends on a few factors, it is likely you can appeal the sentence but the odds of winning such an appeal are very very very low and really not worth the effort unless there is something very special about the circumstances.

Can a minor's confession hold up in trial if the parents were not notified they were being questioned?

Answered by attorney Jason William Savela
Criminal Law lawyer at The Savela Law Firm, P.C.
Try that case to a jury although there is some law saying that minors cannot be questioned without a parent, it is not very strong. But, I jury will understand the situation and will see she is innocent.
