What is the penalty for a 16-year-old selling marijuana with the amount for 1-2 oz?

He will be prosecuted as a juvenile but it can still have serious long-term consequences including incarceration in a juvenile detention facility. Make sure he has experienced criminal representation because selling drugs is treated very seriously and harshly by the criminal justice system.

Is it your position that with a misdemeanor conviction you CANNOT get any job Is that your position? If it is then life is over for you, because the conviction cannot be removed from your criminal history. Now you can focus on your skills, education, or geographical region, and get a job.

What happened to you is perfectly legal and appropriate. Charges can be amended all the time, prior to final disposition of the matter. If you were as drunk as you say you were, you should be happy with the results. As a defense attorney, I think you got a really good deal. I would suggest that you stop looking for excuses and looking for ways out and accept responsibility for the actions you choose to take. Perhaps this was a good learning experience. I hope so.
