Can I be charged for burglary and grand Larceny if there was no evidence?

Charges can be filed on the least amount of evidence, including the testimony of the victim and/or witnesses. Whether or not the charges can be proved beyond a reasonable doubt, is another story.

Am I obligated to appear at my husbands domestic violence trial?

Answered by attorney Jonathan S. Willett
Criminal Law lawyer at Jonathan S. Willett Attorney at Law
A subpoena has to be handed to a person where you live, not merely slid under a door. You should advise your husband's lawyer of the nature of the service, so he could take action. Without proper service, you cannot be in trouble with the court. However, prosecutor's do try and say this is sufficient. With the right argument and a good judge, the service should be held as no good.

I'm disabled I have Brian damage I got caught stealing earrings for my daughter I have no money for fines what will they do to me ?

Tell the court you want a lawyer and apply for the public defender to represent you for free.  Then they can ask for fines to be minimal, some of the court costs to be waived, and maybe even work out a resolution that does not require any of those.
