How private are attorney and client talks?

Mark A. Broughton
Answered by attorney Mark A. Broughton (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Mark A. Broughton, PC
It is completely confidential. This is called the attorney-client privilege. An attorney is duty-bound to keep anything a client says to him/her in strict confidence. It cannot be disclosed to any other source without the client's permission. This is to protect the client's constitutional rights, and so that the client will speak honestly with the attorney so the attorney can provide the best possible representation.

What should I do if my lawyer seem not working the case and they have evidence against me?

Cynthia Russell Henley

There could be no videos and they could still prosecute you. And, it is not your lawyer's fault that the videos are bad. Your lawyer should review the evidence against you including the content of the offense report which will contain what the witnesses will say generally. Because you have prior felony convictions, those cases can be used to impeach your testimony should you testify. If you do not feel your lawyer is doing an adequate job, you can hire a lawyer to substitute in.

Am i liable at my party?

Richard Keith Oliver
Answered by attorney Richard Keith Oliver (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at The Law Office of Rick Oliver
Even if you plan on hiring off-duty cops and making them responsible for ensuring no minors are drinking, this could still go badly for you, and who ever owns the house where you intend to host this party, for that matter. You could be in trouble if the cops show up. You could be in trouble if any of the minors drink and leave and get into a legal situation. You could be in trouble if any of the over-21's drink too much and get into a legal situation. There are a lot of bad things that could happen to you in this situation; relatively few good things.
