Yes. The DA is there to protect you and can still prosecute against your wishes. You can try and plead the fifth. He needs to hire a good attorney that can fight this and help you not testify.

She can go to jail for contempt of court if she did not honor a subpoena she was lawfully served with. That is a court order and if she had notice and chose not to appear, the judge may have issued a bench warrant for her arrest.
