I have a warrant for a domestic violence charge should I turn myself in?

Yes, unless you want to have a surprise with the police turning up at your door, or arresting you in FL during a family trip.

Is this a domestic assault or harassment?

It is NOT harassment, when you are too lazy to read the documents, and just agree to whatever. The judge is not going to reopen a case, because you can only think in text time, rather than real time, especially without an attorney.

Can a probation officer drug test you if it is not a part of your sentence order?

default-avatar
Answered by attorney Craig W Elhart (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Craig W. Elhart, PC
Typically, not using drugs or alcohol would be a part of the probation order and then testing would be implied. In your case, a term and condition of probation is not to violate any law. Smoking marijuana is against the law. If there is suspicion that you have violated the law, then I believe the probation officer could test.
