Is it possible for police to question a three year old child who doesn’t really comprehend what is going on?

What is your question? Can you prevent the police from questioning a three year old? Yes. Will the police arrest you IF they are suspicious about how your child was injured? Maybe. Can you tell the police that a three year old cannot comprehend child fell down stairs? You can tell them, but they do nto need to believe you.

If no charges have been filed, can the police keep my car?

Gary A. Russell
Answered by attorney Gary A. Russell (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Clos, Russell & Wirth, P.C.
If the vehicle is part of an on-going criminal investigation and is evidence, then they can keep it. If not, and it was impounded simply subsequent to an arrest, then you should be able to pay the impounding and storage fees and retrieve it.

Can I be sued if someone I was with was arrested for theft and I was not?

Criminal Law lawyer at Steven J. Alpers, A Professional Corporation
It is possible you could have been criminally charged, but since the police don't know your name it is unlikely. (If your friend gave them your name you could be charged). You cannot be sued by her parents.
