If deferred adjudication successfully completed, may be eligible for an order of non-disclosure. Depends on the charge and other circumstances. Until then, arrest and case disposition with a deferred adjudication remains permanently visible as part of criminal record.

If your car is locked and in the parking lot of a convenience store and a random pedestrian comes up to the car and tries to open the door repeatedly

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
Unless there is an entry into the car there is no theft. For there to be a robbery force must be used against an individual. Under the facts you present, it would be difficult to get the police to file a case.

What is the maximum you can get for attempted armed robbery?

Answered by attorney Elizabeth Zwiebel
Criminal Law lawyer at The Zwiebel Law Firm, LLC
This is more complex than that. It would depend on which jurisdiction and whether you have any priors. My best advice is to hire counsel and not discuss the case with any police or prosecutor beforehand. Remember every prior statement even those discussed with other people can be used against you.
