Debra smith is a really good lawyer. I felt very comfortable with her from the first meeting. Throughout my case she stayed in touch with me and you could tell she was familiar with all the facts and was pushing for a favorable settlement for me the whole time. Great attorney for your money. She straight forward and tells you like it is which saves a ton of money and time. (Something that most attorneys DON'T DO.) She truly fights for what is right and is very successful in court...at least with me she was.

I got charged 60 bucks just to have her secretary run my c/c thru making a payment to her!

Lawyer...great. Staff..absolutely horrible!! Her staff NEVER answers calls or returns calls. In family matters that one holds important, they don't show care. So they never answer you, and when you keep calling BECAUSE they don't answer they have an attitude to top it off! Be prepared to do your own work too! I had to write MY own declaration and proofread paralegals final documents which had NONE of the important information and so many grammatical errors (real professional).

Came to court late without notifying the court. Unprepared. When she was hired, she was hired with the agreement that certain things would be accomplished. It was made clear that she would not be hired unless she agreed to do those things. After a year, nothing was done, she was still unfamiliar with the case and I was charged a whole lot of money.
