I highly recommend this firm. David and his entire team were professional, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to all of my questions (and I had many!) My child custody case was a complete mess when I consulted with and subsequently hired David Self Family Law and Mediation; he and his team had to start completely over from scratch. In the end, however, David was able to help me mediate a resolution that worked for all parties involved. Working with David was all about David! It wasn't about me, unless things got more litigious. Then it was about money. Buyer beware.
I would caution anyone considering this law firm to carefully review their billing structure before engaging their services. Even after completing a straightforward, routine service, I continued to receive bills for 6-7 months post-completion. Their fee structure lacks transparency, and the prolonged charges felt more like an attempt to maximize billing than a fair reflection of services rendered. For those expecting clear and honest billing practices, I’d recommend seeking representation elsewhere.
