Mr. Gasner was my public defender in a felony case I had in Rockdale County in 2018. As busy as he was, he made to to stay in touch with me and provide me with options for my case. He went above and beyond, even getting me a pre trial hearing, which was no easy feat. While he was willing to go to trial, I took the plea deal he got me instead. It was as good a deal as I could have gotten. Overall he is an outstanding attorney and knows his way around the Rockdale co. court system. I would hire him again in a heartbeat and have even used him since to get back in front of my judge to clarify the terms of my probation.
Gasner represented my brother Paul in 2015 for a murder case (his 1st murder case). He did not go to crime scene to collect evidence to represent my brother. I did most of the foot work. i offered to pay a private investigator since he/ his office wasn't doing the work! My evidence or notes were disregarded. We were told that if he signed the DA's deal that he would get years. What he got was life with no release date and no answers. We called immediately after the ruling and got absolutely no answers. Did "Charlie" go to see my brother to get insight into the case? NO! DID HE REVIEW THE EVIENCE WITH MY BROTHER? NO! WHEN THE DA LAID DOWN THE LAW, GASNER ATE LUNCH AND TOLD MY BROTHER TO SIGN THE DEAL. WAS IT FAIR? NO! Did Gasner do his research on my brother as a person? No! Codefendants offered deals with 10-yr difference even though all were 1st offenders. NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR PROMISE AT ALL ROCKDALE COUNTY, CHARLES GASNER OR PARTNERS! YOU LIED TO US!
