Worst ever . She literally was judge Mumford puppet. With judge Mumford and judge Irwin retired , Melinda don’t have a back bone or a leg to stand on . Things are changing for the better and people recognising her theatrical BS . Try and hire an attorney that is not connected with rockdale county. An attorney who has integrity because those people don’t. They all work together for a gain. Melinda does not complete her work, she a liar, she raises general grounds during appeal process that don’t need to be raised, she don’t send to higher courts facts that will dismiss a case. . She should be disbarred but her time coming. she’s plays the game with the clowns that retired. But soon justice will be served because we all have ti answer to someone one day .

Mrs. Melinda Faye Johnson. I guess is suppose to be the public defender for my son Dustin Gunn whom has been in the custody of Walton County I know now 6 months are more. She has never been to see him. I have called her on several occasions. Neither have she every returned but one call to me. In which she just listern. I know how racist Walton County is. I couldn't wait to leave once I got myself together. I feel like the courts put this lady as the public defender to not help them. But to put people away for a long time. They gave my son a attorney that has the worst reviews ever. I always told my kids not to get in trouble. And most definitely not on Walton County which is KKK land. My oldest no how Walton County is an he too stays away for there. I have ask for them to give him another public defender. It's not like that in DeKalb County.They say his only option is Melinda are hire an a lawyer.Walton County think they are smart. By given blacks a lawyer that will fail them.

This attorney does not investigate her cases at ALL, defend her clients, return calls, or communicate with any family members. This is not a reputable attorney, and she should be barred. I guess her job is to Railroad her clients that she is good at and while her office is literally on Railroad. I agree she is definitely a double agent for Judge Mumford. My son was forced to take a plea just because he was present at the football game with friends. She called it guilty by association regardless of any facts. My son ends up with a 20-year sentence on a misdemeanor accusation because she refuse to do her job and prosecuted him as his attorney by saying your guilty by association regardless of if you touched it or not you were present. A broken cell phone never discovered that another kid touched. No criminal history! No crime alleged by my son!
