I used Rainwater Holt & Sexton to represent me in my disability benefits appeal after being denied twice by the state of Arkansas. I realize that they have to prepare differently for varying circumstances in each case. The only time I met face to face with one of what I assumed was either a junior associate or legal assistant was on the day of the hearing. It lasted maybe 15min & he rehearsed w/me 10min prior to hearing.$5,300 seems too much to me.

Rainwater law firm is one of the largest firms in Arkansas and only charges you fees if they win your case. (Disability) They will keep in touch with you but it takes a long time to go through the system with the government. My husband used them several years ago and I am using them now. I would recommend them.

I really got the short end of the stick here. I was informed that my bankruptcy was complete. A few months later, I get a letter saying that it was not and I had to continue making payments. This comes after really thinking I was out of debt and moved on with my life.

Fees for personal injury begin at 40% for pretrial settlements and 50% PLUS court costs at trial--among the highest in the nation. As a client, you are sent links to websites while your case is pending asking you to leave 5 star reviews or vote the firm Best in Arkansas. I was sent between 1 to 2 sites per quarter. These pumped-up reviews make the firm appear at the top of the list. If they do represent you they are quick to settle, looking to "turn and burn" cases and profit by volume.
