Rodier Law Offices is a law firm with an office in Columbus, OH. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer.
Rodier Law Office solicited me regarding a complaint issued in a NY Civil Court case. Although I did not seek their services initially, I'm glad to put it behind me. They offered reasonable prices and options to resolve this case. They swiftly reopened the matter and settled a reasonable offer on my behalf. As far as I'm concerned this is a professional firm, that acts fast and gets the job done.
Working with Mr. Rodier was an overall good experience. There were some small little issues with communication, as I did not know his secretary was going out of office around the time my case was due to be settled, so it got to be a little confusing. However, above all Mr. Rodier ultimately saved me from a lifetime of debt to one company, who was out to get me for all that I had and was able to save me a substantial amount of financial and mental heartache. Mr. Rodier and his office team are very professional and compassionate- when I had a conversation with Mr. Rodier he was able to walk me through the process and explain to me how everything worked. It was a scary time, but he put my mind at ease. I recommend this office, despite the communication issues, because those things happen and above all he did what he was hired to and advocated for me.
Service not done yet !
Nice and was willing to work with us but so expensive
Rodier does communicate but they don't get you the service you are told you pay for. I was told I would be getting a service and I did not get that service but they still want their full amount they are charging for the service they didn't provide. I lost money using Rodier!
This firm was very quick in contacting me when I left a message about needing help with a case. They explained my options and after asking many questions decided to hire them. I gave them my information and was told what they were going to do. I have not been updated about the status of this case.
In my case they started the process too quickly. I got scared when they asked my personal information, like bank account numbers and where I had money invested etc. This was done within 15 minutes of my call. I was in shock. I only owed $800.00 and they were going to charge me $550.00. I am single and don't make that kind of money. In the end it all worked out and I wasn't charged the full amount and the debt has been paid.
I initially thought I was hiring him rather than his Firm. He passed my case on to an Associate (Luis Dela Santos). Between the two communications to me were poor. They didn't keep me up-to-date on the status of the case.
I have yet to receive final paperwork on the out come of the case (it's been 2 weeks). Also have not received a detail invoice of services rendered.
To me, I feel my lawyer never helped me in any way. They just took money from me and I regret coming to Rodier. I should have shopped around and got other feedbacks. Someone used my credit card online which was not me. I made a police report and I had an outstanding balance on my card before the whole issue. So I had an automatic payment set up already so I never canceled the automatic payments till my payments were complete but I was told I can't be helped because I had automatic payments towards the debt i claimed was not mine. So I ended up paying for the lawyer fees plus extra stuff and then the credit card balance which was never done by me. I have ended up with more debt than I came in. If I knew I would have just paid the credit card company than coming to Rodier. No help at all. I totally regret it every day.
Rodier Law has, according to the extensive research I've done as that firm was handling my case, violated professional ethics and several Rules of Conduct. I would definitely seek someone other than Rodier Law, LLC to handle ANY legal matters you may encounter.
