My financial planner set me up with Matt to complete estate planning for myself and my husband. Matt was very responsive and gave us good direction on how we could arrange the future disposition of our estates. We had some specific concerns around providing for my husband's sone and providing future dispositions to my family since we do not have children together. Very efficient service and Matt took the time to make sure we understood our options. I would highly recommend his services.

Don’t recall how I met Matt, but certainly glad I did. He’s been able to help me and provided practical guidance. In my experience, legal advice is easy to come by. However, it being provided in a practically applicable, actionable manner is a skill many lawyers do not possess. Matt does!

Where to begin. Mr. Gibson exceeded our expectations on a business contract which we felt had gone sour beyond salvageable. Not only did he negotiate between the 2 parties but he negotiated a notoriously difficult CEO who has a reputation of 0 compromise in business deals. Mr. Gibson delivered well beyond what we thought he could do, we were hoping to rate his services 10-star instead of 5. A superb lawyer with skills beyond anyone else in the profession we have used.

Matt prepared a trust for my husband and me in 2011. When my husband died last year Matt answered all my questions quickly and worked with me to get my husband's estate settled in a professional and timely manner. He worked with my accountant and financial planner to make sure he had all the necessary information. I would highly recommend Matt.

We were extremely happy with all of Matt's legal services. We had been through the process of Estate Planning 5 years prior, and were looking to update a few estate issues. Matt noticed several major issues were not addressed properly with our documents. He recommended to us what the simplest, most cost effective ways to clear up those issues. We feel 100% confident that all of our Estate Planning documents are solid and everything has been updated to reflect exactly what our wishes are.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
