Taylor/Potterfield is a law firm established in 2005 with an office in Columbia, SC. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing divorce, custody, family law and 6 other areas of law.
Mrs. Potterfield really helped get through a hard time. She was always there to when I needed her. The ladies that work with her always had smiles on there faces, treated me like I was part of the family.
She seems to get easily overwhelmed juggling the different parts of our case. It is worrying that things are getting missed. We ask questions, but that communication does not go over well or make matters better.
Mrs. Potterfield was unprofessional and unreliable. She put no effort into answering questions in helpful informative ways. Her short answers were often very misleading and caused problems as our case progressed. We made the mistake of assuming she was busy with more pressing clients and that she would step up as our court date approached and we paid sorely for that bad assumption. She did not advocate for us, she just seemed to be going through the motions. If you choose to try her services, give her some simple tasks right away and see if she will handle them and communicate well. If not, move on to a qualified attorney, things will not improve.
