The Gasper Law Group is a law firm established in 1999 with an office in Colorado Springs, CO. At this office location, there are 12 lawyers practicing criminal defense, dui/dwai, drug offenses and 40 other areas of law.
The family law division was a very BIG MISTAKE in my opinion. Very over priced and did not provide adequate information on what was going on. Carrie Kelly went to the pre trail and I was told that I did not have to be there but I got no information on what went on at the pretrial. I was told my two other attorney's that I should file legal malpractice suit against them but The Gasper Law firm took all money so I can not do this. This was a one house no children divorce. I have lots more to tell
He did not apply himself to my case. I had evidence of an assault on me first before I retaliated. He showed up 30 minutes late for my initial court appearance. The Prosecutor was going to plea with me but waited for Gasper. Gasper knew they were going to plea this so he did absolutely nothing to present my side of the case. I felt I had nothing else to do but plea deal. He didn't even recognize me when he came into court. He collected a large sum of money from a DAV and did nothing.
Horrible service, bad communication processes, irresponsible with your money! I received minimal service compared to the $6900+ they took from me. Robbers in the day and they are not shy of it either. The attorney assigned rarely communicated with me and didn't submit neessary documentation to the court, hence, required the next attoreny to do their work, which cost more money. They're right nxt to the courthouse, but charge a lot of $$$ to file papers; cheaper if they had a runner.
After the retainer was paid, nothing was done. I would wait over a week a time to get a call returned. They things they were doing to supposedly help turned out to be things that only would have hurt my case if I had not hired a new lawyer. They pull people in by offering a payment plan but overcharge and do nothing once you pay. The results I received after hiring them were in no way different than the public defender aside from the bill.
Offers helpful payment options, however once the retainer was paid it felt as though my husband's case did not matter at all. It was very hard to get a hold of her, she would show up late to court and leave immediately after she was done speaking so I couldn't speak to her, she never gave my husband time to read his discovery and everytime he saw her he felt as if she was in a huge hurry to leave and that he was only an inconvenience to her. She helped the D.A. more than us. She only wants money
